The first innovation PHARMALOGGER environmental monitoring system was created in cooperation with one of the largest drug manufacturers in Croatia, the company JGL. According to the requirements of their experts in quality control and assurance, Alius Group employees have created the Pharmalogger temperature and relative humidity monitoring system for the prescribed storage of thermosensitive drugs and active substances. The Pharmalogger system received an award for innovation in 2012 from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. To this date, the system has been installed in 600 pharmacy units in Croatia and about 30 wholesalers in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Further market research has shown that such a system can be adapted for installation in a delivery vehicle to control the temperature during transport of the same products and then the next innovation emerges, PHARMA-STANDALONE temperature control system during transport (innovation award 2014 by PGC).

In 2015, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce recognizes Alius Group Ltd for special contribution to the development of innovation in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.

The employees of the Alius Group did not stop there from creating innovative products so it was also created the Laboratory Reference Capacitive Hygrometer of very high precision measurement (2016), the device for measuring homogeneity PHARMA-MAP211 (2018) and the Measurement of blood plasma temperature stability (2019).

The value of the Alius Group was recognized and supported by the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. As part of the ‘Innovation Commercialization’ project, carried out in collaboration with Fipro, a foundation for financing the production of prototypes, the Alius Group received a “wind in the back”. The funds were used for the development and improvement of Pharmalogger, the purchase of the necessary equipment, parts for production, and the development of new software and applications that monitor temperatures in vehicles with mobile phones.

Alius Group is especially proud of the latest PHARMA-BOX innovation, for which great interest has been shown in the pharmaceutical market and has been recognized by the Ministry of the Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020.

All tests are performed in it before the product is delivered to the customer. When the product is ready for serial production, it is made in Zagreb in cooperation with the local company, and serial production of Pharma-box containers abroad is planned soon.

The success of achieving the set goals depends on the people who are the most important part of the company. High standards can be maintained only if we strive for the best, and for this reason great importance is attached to the quality selection of new staff and continuous education and training of employees.
